Keto Cafe
Keto Cafe will help you find resources for your ketogenic diet and lifestyle. Whether you’re just curious about what ‘keto’ is and how to get started, have been eating low-carb for a while and are stalled out or looking for your next step, or are a hardened veteran of law-carb living, there are resources, tips, and tools for you here.
Diet
The core concept of keto is forcing your body into ketosis &mdash switching from a sugar / carb based energy source to a ketogenic fuel source. Don’t know what any of that means? Not to worry. Check out the Getting Started section and all your questions will be answered.
Recipes
Some people think that once you go keto, it means nothing but eating omelettes, burgers and bacon. Those are amazing things and should be eaten all the time. But they are far from the end of the story. There are thousands of incredible recipes to try and add into your daily diet. Avocado. Broccoli. Fat-head pizza. Iceberg wedges. Fat bombs. Dark Chocolate. Spinach. Steak. The list goes on and on. The recipes section here will get you started!
Exercise
Once people are adapted to keto, they often want to accelerate their body transformation. Some things you’ve learned in life will go out the window. For example, hours of cardio on the treadmill or elliptical will be things of the past. You’ll be looking at HIIT, Tabata protocol, Interval Training, Strong Gains, and 5×5. All of this may look like gibberish now. Explore the Fitness section and get going. Keto is full of counterintuitive thinking that doesn’t stop at the fridge. You’ll be amazed at what you can do in the gym.
Shop
Every week new products are showing up on the shelves at your local markets and of course you can always find staples of keto at your local butcher or green grocer. However, there are some other things that you might struggle to find. The Keto Shop offers keto-specific products both to eat and to use. New items will find their way into your pantries and cabinets.
